Is Stomach Upset While On Metoprolol And Midodrine A Matter Of Concern?
Dr prescribed 1/2 tablet metoprolol taryrate 25mg twice daily & 1 tablet midodrine hcln2.5 hcl mg @7, 11 a.m. & 3p.m. they seem to work against each other. This is something new. Had Bp 192/114 this p.m. with upset stomach this afternoon.. Not feeling well now. Should have concerns. This is new prescriptions for heart patient with prior stents & 1 by pass surgery not regaining strength. I am the spouse. YYYY@YYYY

Midodrine Hydrochloride can cause elevation of blood pressure,as it increases vascular tone. It is usually used for treatment of symptomatic orthostatic hypotension in patients whose lives are considerably impaired despite standard clinical care.Consult your own Cardiologist.
