My daughter in law has been periodically sun bathing at the beach while pregnant. Her mother is a nurse and says that it won't harm the baby. She also got very sunburned early on in her pregnancy. All the information I read says it's very bad for the baby and can cause brain damage. Is this true?
Do not worry. Sun bathing during pregnancy will not harm the baby.
Sun rays will not penetrate through the layers of fat and uterus and its fluid.
It is not a cause for concern.
Take care.
