Is Surgery An Option For Carpel Tunnel And Cub Ital Tunnel?
I have been diagnosed with both carpal tunnel and cub-ital tunnel. My doctor says both are between 6-7 on a scale of 1-10. Should I see if a chiropractor can permanently solve my problems, or is surgery a better option for me. I am a 56 year old male. Thanks

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello, Thanks for your query.
The nerves to the fingers go through a small tunnel at the wrist to get into the hand – called the carpal tunnel. Pressure in this area causes the symptoms. It can be worse at night and cause pain or discomfort that may wake you. Surgery is a better option to relieve the pressure over nerves. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
