Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Mukesh Chugh's Response
Hi Thanks for your query After going through your description it seems your father has suffered only dislocation without fracture? Although you have not mentioned about the joint which has dislocated, most of the time these dislocation can be reduced without surgery. Having said that the treating doctor is the best person to decide how to reduce the joint. Do not worry about the anaesthesia as it is an advance science and is safe. Take care and wishing your father a successful surgery. For any further query log in at http://bit.ly/drmchugh Regards
