Is Swelling And Warm Feeling In Knee Normal After A Fall?

Hi, my question is, after a fall and bump of the knee, how typical is it for some swelling to be accompanied by the knee being warm to the touch? My mother fell and bumped her knee two weeks ago. She doesn t have much pain and no trouble walking, and the swelling isn t significant. But I wasn t sure if the knee being warm to the touch was normal. Thank you.

it is quite common that when there is fall there is collection of the fluid inside the joint and it causes warm knee.If there is decrease in swelling then you can get it aspitated knee fluid with the help of needle. You can also apply compression bandage and volini ointment.
