Is Swelling In Hands And Protein In Urine For A 40 Weeks Pregnant Lady A Cause Of Concern?

I am 38 + 2 weeks pregnant and blood pressure usually low around 90/60 but at my appointment today it was 130/88 with a trace of protein in urine,swelling in hands and feet and really bad headache but my midwife said nothing to worry about and will see me at 40 weeks is this right?

Hi. Presently with this BP and protein trace everything is fine .The swelling can be physiological, normal for pregnancy.But it is time for induction of labour now. You are already full term now.Keep a watch on your symptoms and repeat urine for proteins daily until you get admitted. Also watch for foetal movements.
