Is Swelling In Legs A Result Of Lung Or Kidney Problem ?
My foster mother passed on two days ago. She has been suffering lung problem for a while now and the legs were really swollen. Is the swelling a result of lung or kidney problem? Before she passed on she was fine and healthy. A day before she died she was strong and energetic and even ran her errands but she started experiencing blood coming from the nose and when she was coughing blood came from the mouth. The morning following, there was still bleeding but this time it was more. She got tired and could not walk, she was laid in bed to rest and suddenly she stopped breathing and she was gone. What do you think could be the cause of death? Could there be some foul play- she had been involved in a 2 days quarrel a day before her death she
Thanks for the question my dear. Swelling of the legs can result from medical conditions related to any of the four organ systems - Lungs, heart, kidneys or liver. Its only after careful assessment including examination and tests that we can tease them out. With regards to you second question, it is impossible to come to any conclusion as to the cause of her demise - could be simply choking on her own blood or something very serious. may she RIP. Best wishes.
