No, this cannot be due to change of manufacturer. Verapamil is known to cause swelling of hands and feet. This is due to vasodilation (dilation of blood vessels) effect and subsequent leakage of fluid. Fluid generally collects is dependent parts of body such as hands and feet.
Advice
1.     Continue verapamil 120 mg daily
2.     Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg daily orally for 15 days
3.     Avoid abrupt withdrawal of verapamil
4.     Keep your leg elevated by keeping 2 pillows under your leg when you are lying down
5.     Stay active and focus on stretching and moving the legs and hands
6.     Stand up or move around at least once every hour
7.     Consume less salt preferably less than 2 gram in a day
8.     Reduce weight if you are overweight by exercise and dietary control
9.     Do not smoke or drink alcohol
Thanks
