Is Taking Metronidazole And Fluconazole Safe While On Erythromycin?
I am on erythromycin 250mg film tabs 2tabs am and 2 tabs pm for skin per dermatologist. Today prescripts by Gyn, Metronidazole and Fluconazole 150 mg 2 pills and 5 day app of Metronidazole. Wondering about drug interaction. Also take 1/4 baby aspirin daily
Hello, Well I understand you concern. Good to ask about the interaction through drugs. You should avoid the combination of Fluconazole with Erythromycine because they empower the side effects of each other in cardiac system. If you permit I will suggest to you to finish the cure with Erythromicyne and than start the other cure. Or better if you can go to the doctor and he can switch fluconazol( or erythromicyn, depending on you to which doctor) to another drug. I hope my answer was helpful! I wish you to get well soon!
