Is Taking Taxim-O Safe As Clamp Kid Did Not Have Any Effect?

Hi My baby of 1 year age having fever, when he is taking combiflame, fever is stopping for 6 hours.. and after that it is again coming. he was taking clampkid forte as antibiotic. already taken 6 doses and no improvement. Now doctor is saying to change the clampkid forte to taxim-o forte.. how you view the situation. i am bit worried why clampkid forte did not work.. what could be the region? how you evaluate taxim-o forte?

Clamp kid forte is a broad spectrum antibiotic. I think the doctor has changed the antibiotic because of no response in the 48 hours period. Taxim o has almost similar spectrum of activity except that on some organism (gram negatives) taxim o is better.
