Is Taking An Overdose Of Microgynon 30 Harmful?

I am a healthy 19 year old female and Occasionally after my seven day break from taking microgynon 30 my period doesn't always stop straight away so I often take 2 - 3 pills for a couple of days to stop it. Will this harm me? I have also previously taken more than the stated dose norethisterone to delay my periods at times will this cause me any fertility problems?

Hello,

Irregular taking of pill may cause hormonal imbalance and leads to irregular heavy or late period. It can hamper ovulation. However, hormonal pill itself doesn't cause any fertility problem but you should take them regularly as much possible.
