Is Taking Anastrozole And Prednisone Appropriate For Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Cellulitis And Joint Pain?
joint pain as related to prednisone. I have been taking this for over (copd) a year. i am also abreast cancer(june 2010 I now have lympoedema( cellulitis) which required hospitalization 3 weeks ago for iv antibotic and prednisone. i was discharged home 20mg for 5 days then 10mg for 5 days it has been about 3-4 days completion of this treatment. i now have bad joint pains. note:i also take anastrozole 1mg oral tablet 1xda which also causes joint pain. i have follow up with my dr. 1/2/14. i am having these joint pains. i do take one pain pill 1x da(i do need more, but trying to wait to see dr. your in put is appreciated.
HI Thank for asking to HCM You have taken enough steroid which would not required up to this much days, more over I did not find the valid reason for this, even if you have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease then also short course of steroid would have been enough and the main aim would have been underlying cause of this condition, now you have to stop the steroid otherwise the infection will not be controlled or eradicated, your other condition if you want to cure this then stop the steroid now, take care and have nice day.
