General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I have read your question & understood your concern. Dubagest is a hormone ,which supports growing foetus( in cases of hormone deficiency) , till placenta is well formed & takes over( usually up to 14-16 weeks) It is not only safe but a must for weak baby. At 12 weeks of pregnancy, your doctor will reassess the foetal growth & confirm the dose of dubagest/ stop it. Please don't worry, follow doctor's instructions & have a healthy life style for healthy pregnancy our come. Wish you all the best, Thanks.
