Is Taking Full Dose Of Citrate Of Magnesium Necessary?

I have a question about the laxative I need to take per my letter, it says to take 4 tablets of Dulcolax, 2 bottles of Citrate of Magnesium, I did all this except I am having a problem finishing the whole bottle of Citrate of Magnesium, what happens if I don*t finish the whole 2nd bottle? I have been going to the bathroom for the past 4 hours, thank you for your answer, do I have to finish the 2nd bottle?

If you are preparing for a procedure like colonoscopy it is good to take all of the medication that is recommended. If you do not, the colon may not be completely cleared out and they may have to have you do the whole prep again and repeat the procedure on another day. You can mix the mag citrate with extra water if that will help you get it down easier. Good luck
