Is Taking Naxdom 500 Recommended During Pregnancy?
hi doc, i am 9 weeks pregnant. since last 1 week i am suffering from severe migraine headache due some stress in professional life. i saw a neurologist as the headache was unbearable. he has prescribed me naxdom 500 (combination of naproxen sod and domperidone). i wanted to know how safe it is and does it have any adverse effects on the foetus.

during pregnancy no medication is taken except emergency need of any.
as you have complain of headache probably migraine, whether you have improved with rest or may cause severe and uncontrollable headache?
one time if you take naxdom it has not much effect on child.
as you are having 9 week pregnancy so not having much effect on child. most of drug side effects on fetus occur on first 3 month of pregnancy.
consult gynecologist whether took medication or not
