Sir , I am using Romilast 10 mg for around 3 years and now i am addicted to this medicine whenever i missed any dose short breathless felt and as soon i take this medicine i feel comfortable .Now ,I am taking half tablet of romilast 1 time in a day .i am ok with that .Is using romilast is safe or any other option to quit this medicine as i believe i am fit because i am doing body building and exercise on daily basis.
Yes, it is. You have been prescribed Romilast 10mg for asthma prevention and for the treatment of allergy symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose.
It is a relatively safe medicine with very few side effects. Take Romilast, 2 hours before exercising if you have exercise-induced asthma.
It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Use your rescue inhaler to control sudden difficulty in breathing.
Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
