Dear Sir/Madam Welcome to HCM I understand your concern. Frequent low sugars are not good. My advice is 1) please check his FBS, PPBS and HbA1c and fine tune his treatment accordingly with help from a Diabetologist. 2) in view of long duration of Diabetes please check his renal function as well - Blood urea, Serum creatinine and Urine spot microalbuminuria. Some times when the kidney function is abnormal because of Diabetes patients experience low blood sugars while taking medicines for Diabetes. Hope this helps. All the best! Dr. Riyaz Sheriff
