Is The MCL 1 Sprain Which Was Due To A Accident Recovering?

I had a accident on December 28th and was told I have a MCL 1 sprain, I completed 9 classes of physio and I am currently doing my exercises at home. My range I excellent, I was told I would be healed in another 3 weeks. I feel stiffness and have a little fluid on my knee. Please let me know if I am on the road to recovery.
