Is The Anatomy Scan For A 18 Weeks Pregnancy Normal?
Hi..I just want to ask some questions regarding in my pregnancy...I am in 18 weeks pregnant and I ve done with my ANATOMY SCAN...Here s the result,, BPD is 42mm; AC is 128mm; HC is 157mm and FL is 27mm..Is it normal measurement for a 18 weeks pregnant?..Thank you....
Hello, Your sonographic fetal measurements suggest a gestational age of around 18 weeks. Mostly, they are within normal limits. Usually, there is always a range of variation within a week. Though the head circumference is on the higher end, it is still within normal limits. The sonogram may be repeated after a couple of weeks to see if any significant changes happen. Please continue with prescribed medication, eat healthy and take adequate rest, preferably in left lateral position. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you safe motherhood.
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.. The anomaly scan or is the most common scan of the second trimester. This scan can show how your baby is growing; make sure your baby's internal organs are developing well, estimate the amount of amniotic fluid;check the position of the placenta. BPD , HC ,AC and FL are the parameters for fetal growth which is corresponding to 18 weeks. But you have not mentions anything about the anatomy of fetus or liquour amount.. If those are normal, then the scan is normal.. Hope i have answered your queries. Good day..
