Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I've noticed in the last few days a fairly consistent heart arryhthmia. I keep thinking it will go away, but it does not. I have been quite sedantary for the last 3 weeks with a severely sprained ankle. First question: is the arrythmia an emergency type of situation, or can it wait until the morning? Second: could there be some sort of thrombosis from the injury that is causing the arrythmia? Thanks for your attention.
This is Dr Sameer, the cardiologist. Until you detect what type of arrhythmia you are having, it is very difficult to tell whether it is life-threatening or not and we can also not tell what is causing it.
So go to the hospital soon and then only we can diagnose it and do further management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
