Is The Delayed Period Due To Side Effect Of Phentermine?

Okay so im taking phentermine for about a month now. And me and my fiance have been trying for a baby since February.. and all my periods have been 3-4 days long. But this month i havent had any and i am 4 days late. Have taken several test 5-8 days ago and there negative. Is it to early? Or is the phentermine causeing negative result? Or is it the phentermine side effects?

I understand your concern.
Phenteramine is not known to cause delay in menses.Only possibility is,the drug is meant for weight. It reduces appetite& is to be accompanied by diet control. .. This may turn to weakness & delayed periods.
Phenteramine is also known to reduce sex drive / fertility very rarely. So in my opinion-
- Pregnancy test of urine is best done 8 days of delay in menses.. also it almost confirms pregnancy, if done according to instructions ( using boiled bottle for collection/ collecting midstream sample/use standard testing kit/ absence of infection of urine.
Repeat it if you have done it earlier.
- In case you are trying for weight reduction.. consult a gynecologist/ endocrinologist, tell the doctor about eagerness for conception.
Some times ovarian/ thyroid conditions do lead to overweight & difficulty in conception.to find the basic cause & have specific treatment is beneficial.
Confirm about continuation/ change in drug for Phentermine
