Is The Drop In Lymphocytes Indicative That I May Have Low CD4 Count?
I am a white male, 41 years old, 215 lbs, 5 10 . I recently tested positive for HIV and am awaiting full blood test results. Two weeks prior to the test I had a CBC w/ Differential and my lymphocytes percentage was at 28% at 1.9K/mcL. In July 2012 the percentage was 31% at 2.7K/mcL. Is the drop in lymphocytes indicative that I may have a low CD4 count and have become dangerously immunocompromised?

yes, dropping of lymphocyte is suggestive of advanced HIV,but particulary dropping of CD4 is indicative of advanced hiv. so you have to carry out hiv before you consider your self immunocompromised. thnx
