Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is The Prescribed Medicine Junior Lanzol(15 Mg), Domstal Drops Safe?
my doc prescribed my 8 month baby Junior Lanzol (15 mg) 1 tablet daily and domstal drops 8 drops 3 times daily after we visited him with complaints of as he acts like fits and close his eye. Although I have started the meds from yesterday, I am a little worried if it is safe for my baby. Please advise.
Both Domstal drops as well as Junior Lanzol are safe to be used in breast feeding infants, though with presence of limited study in human being about the side effect of both drugs in infants. I think, by the symptoms/complaints, it looks like, that a more clear history, proper examination or investigations may be necessary to reach at a precise diagnosis, in this case.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
