Is The Presence Of Fibrohazed Densities In The Upper Lung Due To A Medical Illness?

Hi good evening,please help me understand my x-ray result,here is the finding results: Apicolordotic view confirm the presence of fibrohazed densities in the upper lung presumably due to PTB of undetermined activity.Clinical & microbiological correlation is suggested.

Hi,

The report of PTB of undetermined activity means here is that the image suggests some exposure to TB, but whether, it is an old or active infection, can not be determined by the image alone. In these cases, further testing like sputum, skin / blood tests or even further periodic imaging to review the progress of lesions etc., may be needed. In some cases, the diagnosis may have to be revised with other tests. In hard to diagnose cases, a therapeutic trial with antibiotics, antifungal or even with anti-tubercular drugs may also be needed some times.
