Hi, I have a lump very hard lump on the back of my head recently. When it first appeared it caused itching on the lump and burning sensation then the next day I had extreme fever and rash like redness on my face then slowly this rash covered all of my body, I had fever for a week and it was extreme fever like 105, and rash covered all over my body but after a week fever dropped and slowly rash started to disappear now after almost 2 weeks of that I m having this lump on my head again on the left side back of my head again I m scared that I m gonna have this rash and extreme fever again
Based on the history, it might be a sebaceous cyst which got infected. Do you have diabetes? It will be helpful if you share a picture of the lump. Sebaceous cyst recur always if not completely excised. If it is infected you may need a surgery and get entire cyst along with its wall removed and take a course of antibiotics. As you are having recurrent problem, get your blood glucose levels tested to rule out diabetes mellitus.
