Is The Stomach Pain While Pushing The Symptom Of Enteric Fever?
Hi my wife is skipped for one month and she is not able to eat heavy food only she could eat is cornflakes, fish, meat little she could not eat rice at all , she reported that she get pain when she push her stomach . is this the symptoms of entric fever or normal cause ?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of your wife skipping for one month and not able to eat heavy foods. She can eat cornflakes, fish and meat and not the rice. There is pain on pushing on the stomach. In such a case I would advise you the following: Get a clinical evaluation and investigations of the blood, urine and stool and get ultrasonography of the abdomen. This will help to get a proper diagnosis. If needed an opinion of a Gastroenterologist and further investigations may be needed.
