Is The Temperature Of 37.4 Degree Celsius Normal During Pregnancy?

Hi, I m 27 weeks pregnant and have a temperature of 37.4 degrees Celsius. Had trace of GBS at 22 weeks pregnant with no symptoms. Stillbirth last year due to the baby having GBS in her. My waters never broke and I wasn t in labour when she died. Should I contact the hospital or is that temperature okay? Thanks

hi thanks for writing to us
body temperature depends upon the where in the body the measurement is made, the time of day, the activity level of the person.
rectal temperatures are slightly higher than oral temperatures
maintain a temperature chart at a interval of 4 hours for a day
if it is more than 38 degrees and if you are symptomatic contact doctor immediately
keep a watch on babys movements
if less or you have any doubt with out hesistaion contact the doctor immediately
