Hello,
Get clinically examined by a GP / Gastroenterologist. Get required tests and investigations done like
stool test,
Endoscopy,
Helicobacter pylori testing, stool test, biopsy and barium swallow X-ray to detect ulcer. Early diagnosis will help early treatment. You can continue to take the medicines prescribed. If you have digestion problems than you can take Liv -52, it is better to take food good for the liver.
Take boiled food to help heal the ulcer naturally if it is in the early stage. Do not take spicy, oily fried food. Take boiled water after cooling. Avoid taking food that triggers your symptoms. Take rest, do not do stressful work. Avoid doing any heavy work. Honey,
curcumin (turmeric), probiotics will be good to be made a part of your daily diet. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like
ibuprofen should be avoided as it can irritate the stomach lining and exacerbate ulcers.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
