Is There A Better Option Other Than Hard Contact Lenses Prescribed After Keratoconus Diagnosis ?
Hi, I'm a 36 year old femal recently diagnosed with keratoconus. I was given hard contact lenses for this, but I seem to be unable to tolerate them. I have eye pain when wearing them. I have trouble putting them in and taking them out. In the month I've been wearing them, I've already scratched my cornea.
Hello, It seems from the history that you are diagnosed with keratoconus for which you are prescribed with hard contact lenses. The other and better options of treatment of this condition are corneal collagen cross linking Intra corneal ring segment implantation.
Hence I advice you to consult your eye doctor for further treatment.
Thank you
