Is There A Chance Of Getting HIV From Used Razor During Shaving?

Hello sir,I am worried person .can I get hiv from shaving ...whether shaving foam kills hiv ...I didnot notice the barber changing the razor ....I asked him he told that changed the razor blades ..and I got small two cuts in neck .....earlier person shaving 5 min before me....from this incidence can I get hiv ...?

Welcome to HCM.

There may be a theoretical possibility of HIV transmission through shaving blades. But not seen any case in our practice.
In your case it could not be possible as there was a lapse of 5 minutes between you and the previous customer.
HIV can not be viable outside the body fluids not more than few seconds. You might have cuts during the time of shaving and if the previous customer had no cuts? Then also there was not any possibility of HIV transmission. He would not be a HIV positive person.So the probabilities for HIV transmission from a barber shop is negligible.
