Is There A Chance Of Pregnancy After Taking Morning After Pill?
Hello, I took the morning after pill after 32 hours of having sex. I know that it may only be 84% effective but I hope it has worked.Since I ve taking the MAP I have felt a little sick (I have not been sick though) Foods that i normally enjoy don t taste the same. I am a chocoholic but since taking the pill, the thought of chocolate makes me feel sick. It s been 3 days since the unprotected sex and nearly two days since I took the MAP.The night after taking the pill, my stomach felt really tender and I ached everywhere (but I ached anyway)I have not experienced any nausea or dizziness. Am I just paranoid or is there a chance I could be pregnant? Thanks
Hi, Emergency contraceptive pill is most often effective when taken within the stipulated time interval. The excess hormone content in the pill causes the symptoms that you are currently experiencing. You may also see withdrawal bleeding for a few days. You can also expect your next natural period to get delayed by a week or two. If you had the intercourse during the safe period of your menstrual cycle, you are naturally protected. Please get expert help if you do not see your next period even after ten days after it is due. Take care.
