Is There A Connection Between Suffering From Depression And Experiencing Tingling Sensation In Arms And Legs?
A vein popped in my finger last week and now I have tingling in my arm and lower leg on the same side. A few weeks ago I had a massive bruise on this leg and have flown since then. I just feel strange. Previously had depression, could my mind be playing tricks on me ?
Well it is unlikely that your tingling sensation in the arm and leg is related to past history of depression although there is no denying of the fact that depression can lead to somatic / bodily symptoms such as tingling sensations in different parts of body but these symptoms are mostly non-specific and generalized rather than restricted to one specific area of the body ( i.e. is the same leg and arm getting sensation all the time) as is seen in your case so I believe your tingling sensation is unrelated to depression but instead it has some other basis behind it's development which needs to be examined and investigated by your physician.
I hope this helps.
Regards.
