Is There A Connection Between Thyroid Levels And Diverticulosis?

I had my thyroid removed over 30 years ago due to cancer. I have been taking thyroid medicine every since. I also suffer from bouts of diverticulitis. Is there a connection between the levels of thyroid in my body and the bouts of diverticulosis? I currently take 100 mcg and have noticed when ever they put me on this dose I have more bouts of diverticulosis compared to when I am on higher doses.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have removed your thyroid in past and now you are taking thyroid supplements. Your thyroid level has no relation with your diverticulosis. Don't worry about that.

Check your TSH level and set the dosage according to need.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
