Is there a cure for globus hystericus? I m currently taking Zoloft of Valium for it, but the Valium only gets rid of it temporarily. The Zoloft hasn t done anything yet, but I ve only been on it for two weeks. I m currently trying supplements such as magnesium oxide and B6, but they haven t cured me either.
globus hystericus means a feeling of lump in the throat , even though there is no significant swelling or mass in the throat and is generally due to stress/anxiety or psychological disorders. If your diagnosis is correct , then i would strongly recommend that you meet a psychiatrist , who can evaluate you completely and guide you further. You will not need any supplements or medications for it. Take care!
