Is There A Cure For Low IQ Due To Taking Melanosil?

My brother when 7 years old was found häving vitligo a skin pigment problem who was given treatment as sitting nd exposed under sun rays everyday and häving a pill called melanosil. He had taken that treatment for almost 6 years. During the adoloscent period his behaviour drastically changed frm a brilliant child to a very low iq child. Y tht happened. Is there any cure. After a lot diagonisis a doctor declared h a bit szizophernic. Can anyone guide me on this. :-

you need to consult a psychiatrist to evaluate your brother as why his behaviour changed. He can also assess his I.Q. level. As you mention about Schizophrenia , he can re assess the diagnosis and can treat accordingly as schizophrenia is a treatable condition most of time.
