Is There A Less Invasive Way To Unblock My Tear Ducts?
I have been diagnosed with blocked tear ducts, the only option given to me was an operation where they have to make a hole in the bone on the side of my nose to make new tear ducts is their a less invasive way to unblock my ducts? YYYY@YYYY
Hello It seems from the history that you are having blockage of tear ducts for which you have been advised surgery in the form of dacryocystorhinostomy. The surgery involves making a hole in the lacrimal bone and connecting lacrimal sac to nose to reestablish the drainage. The less invasive procedure is laser dacryocystorhinostomy and can be done as out patient procedure without causing pain.
Thank you
