Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Dear Ma'am,

Thanks for posting your query on this website. I can fully appreciate your concerns.

I must admit that I too am not aware of Aricept been banned by FDA. To the best of my information, Aricept produced by some pharmaceutical companies have been found to be sub-standard, because of which their products are being banned.

I personally am of the opinion that Namenda is equally good and equally effective as Aricept. You can therefore, continue with either Namenda or, Aricept manufactured by reputed pharmaceutical companies approved by FDA.

I am confident that you will certainly benefit from the advice.

May I assure you that I am always available for your assistance and will try my best to cure your condition to the best of my experience and knowledge.

Please feel free to revert back to me in case of further clarifications, if any.

HAVE A NICE DAY AND A SPEEDY RECOVERY.

Fond Regards,

Dr.(Col) R Karanwal
