Hello
With the help of cavity formation we can diagnose tuberculosis.
When some one take treatment ( full anti tubercular treatment ) of tuberculosis ( pulmonary or in lungs ) this cavity healed and this type of healed lesion is known as calcified healed lesions and as far as known to me this will remain in lungs forever .
Any type of drug in any system can't remove this calcified healed nodes from lungs space .
Doctor can identify a patient that a person was an old tubercular treated patient .However your cousin can consult a medical board and take certificate that she is free from tuberculosis.
Hope this information will help you.
