Is There A Solution For Facial Hair Growth Which Started After Using Pendrum Pills?

hi! :)

I'm very upset to know that hairs started grown on my face after using pendrum plus an ointment for face! its not that it only effected me even my skin is totally clear and there are no pimples etc. even i look fair than before but these facial hairs are the reason of my sadness! but my face was totally clean before pendrum.

please help me to get rid of this and let me know any other cream according to my age i.e 17 for my face to look fair with having no side effects!

Hi.Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Panderm cream contains a potent steroid. It should not be used as a fairness cream. Steroids if used indiscriminately can be associated with side effects like:
-Acne,
-Photosensitivity,
-Skin thinning and telangiectasias,
-Facial hair growth in females.

I would advice against using panderm cream on face on account of the above mentioned side efects.

If i was your treating doctor, I would advice that you use a broad spectrum sunscreen throughout the day.

As a treating doctor I would advice that it is better to use a cream containing kojic acid, hydroquinone, glycolic acid, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, arbutin , liquorice etc in various formulations because they are safe for long term use.

Normally it would take 3-6 months for the steroid induced hair growth to reverse.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
Regards
