Is There A Way To Check About A Stuck Tampon Inside The Vagina Apart From A Rotten Smell At The Genitals?

Hi, I think i have a tampon stuck inside me. I cant feel anything though when i try to get it out.. The 2 reasons i think i do is the odor (almost like a rotting smell from my vagina as well as when i put a new tampon in, it feels like there is one getting pushed up. In there further. Is there any way i can check?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Please get examined by a gynecologist through per speculum and direct vaginal examination. The stuck tampon, if present, would be seen or felt during this examination. It can then the removed out with a forceps if it's there.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
