Is There An Antidote To Sulfamethoxazole?
I ve been taking sulfamethoxazole for 3 days for urinary tract infection.....I have upset stomach every day am dizzy and want to know if there is an antitdote to takeing this medicine.....I ve never taken anything for uti except cypro and have never had any bad reactions so I m a little concerned....... Thank you!

If you can’t tolerate Sulfamethoxazole it is better or stop the drug. No antidotes are available for Sulfamethoxazole. Drink plenty of water. You can change to other antibiotics preferably after doing a urine culture to choose the best antibiotic.
