Is There Any Chance Of Pregnancy With Protected Sex?

My period is due around now and today when I woke up my legs felt really weak.I don't remember feeling like this before /around my period. I'm worried that I'm pregnant. I had sex about 6 weeks ago but we used a condom. I had my period after that. I'm still worried that I could be pregnant.

Hello
Thank You for contacting HCM.

To be pregnant, 2 criteria should be fulfilled:
1. Fusion of sperm with ovum to form a fertilized ovum.
2. Implantation of the fertilized ovum in the Uterus.
there was no ejaculation so there are no chances of pregnancy.
There is no need to worry, you can wait till you get your periods.
There are very less chances of getting pregnant because after protected intercourse you had your periods.
Now, these symptoms post probably seems to be off PRE MENSTURAL SYNDROME..
You should wait for your periods to come.
But if there is over due of your periods then go for
>Pelvic ultrasound to rule out the cause.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you good health.
