Is There Any Connection Between Black Stool And Pepto Bismol While Experiencing Slightly Dizziness, Feeling Faint, Lightheadedness And Upset Stomach?
I m slightly dizzy, faint, lightheaded and upset stomach. I took pepto bismol last night and today s stool was black but normal consistency. I heard pepto bismol can make it black but I can t explain the dizziness. Any connection between black stool an dizziness?
One tablet of Pepto Bismol can not cause black stool. You should better consultant physician for black stool and other complaints as they are indicative of blood loss. You should do your CBC with DC, SGPT, stool for Routine and stool OBT and USG abdomen. If needed gastroenterology consultation should be done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
