Hi,

Lasix (furosemide) is a diuretic that is often used to treat fluid retention and swelling in the body. Advil (ibuprofen) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used to reduce pain and inflammation.

There are no known interactions between Lasix and Advil. However, it is important to always tell your healthcare provider about all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs like Advil, to ensure that it is safe for you to use them together.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Joy Dutta, General & Family Physician
