Is There Any Need Of Medication For T3 Level Of 145.8 And T4-7.70?

my wives T3 level is 145.8, T4 is 7.70 and TSH is 8.440. She has total cholestarol level of 193. The doc suggested 25 microg of dose. I would like to have a second opinion and if possible a good endocrinologist to see. is it possible to treat this situation without going for medication?

go for TPO antibodies if its positive you need to take thyroxine. at present no treatment required for cholesterol .once TSH comes normal you can again check for lipids.
