Hello and welcome,
I understand the situation.
Unfortunately primolute is not supposed to work for 2 months at a stretch. It will most likely cause what we call breakthrough bleed as the uterine lining has got used to its effect and will not respond now unless
estrogen is provided.
As you are scheduled for surgery next month, pills containing estrogen are not advised as they cause increased blood clot. However the best judge will be your surgeon as bleeeding will lead to
anemia and complicate the surgery. The options for you now are use of drugs like tanexamic acid or estrogens [ injections or oral
contraceptive pills] will help control the bleed. However it is important that you take these after consulting your doctor considering their effect on the blood clotting system.
Measures to build the count are iron and b complex tablets, diet rich in red fruits, beetroot, tomateos, carrots and green leafy vegetables and one egg white daily.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Thanks for using HCM.
