General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Cipla I pill is an emergency contraceptive. You had bleeding after a week of its intake that is suggestive of no pregnancy. The pain and bleeding following this is due to hormonal imbalance caused by taking high dose hormones in form of iPill. Your normal menses would take few weeks to start.
The pain at present can be controlled by any pain killer over the counter like Combiflam. Use contraception while sexual act &start with regular cyclical pills after you get your periods(in consultation of your gynecologist)
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
