Is There Any Problem For Variation In Pressure Reading With A History Of Congestive Heart Failure?

My parents are monitoring my 87 year old grandmother's blood pressure and told me it is 88/39 in one arm and 99/44 on second reading. Grandma was nauseous earlier but feeling a little better now. Should they be taking her to ER? She does have hx of congestive heart failure for at least six years now, probably longer.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Blood pressure is too low.
2. Associated nausea and cardiac failure along with age will complicate myocardial infarction presentation.
3. She should go to ER immediately to get ECG done as it could be atypical presentation of myocardial infarction.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
