Is There Any Remedy For Regaining The Lost Hair Due To Ring Worm At The Back Of The Head ?

my son have a knot in the back of his head and has been there now for our 5 month I took him to the doctor they told me it was nothing serious he also lost hair in that spot and they told me it was due to a ring worm he has to Taken all of his medicine and the hair still has not come back in the knot in the back of his head is still sore Aaand tender is this anything for me to be concerned about.

See there are two possibilities.
If the hair loss from the scalp was due to a fungal infection, then There is a possibility that the hair loss might just be a permanent one.
However, on the other hand, if the hair loss was due to an autoimmune condition like alopecia areata, then the hair loss will be reversible lo nature.
You need to get proper check up done from a dermatologist who can guide you and tell you regarding the prognosis.
