Is There Any Side Effect For Naproxen, Redoxon And Samixon During Pregnancy?
Hi my wife has taken naproxen, and amoxydar forte (amoxixillin) due to severe abdominal pain. She used to take redoxon vitamin c for almost one month. Just very recently we discovered she was postI ve in pregnancy test. She also had undergone shot of samixon 1 gram prior to discovery of pregnancy. Is there any adverse effect that may take place? Please give us advice if we could still possibly continue the pregnancy. Thank you very much.
Many women have taken medications that are contraindicated or advised with caution in their first trimester to go on and deliver perfectly healthy children.
I would like you to continue with your pregnancy for now, inform her caring doctor about the ssme. Go for regular and more often monitoring with ultrasound, quad checker tests, and so on. To make sure the growth and development of your fetus is normal, once this is done there is no requirement for any thing to be done and you can welcome a new member to your family. If god forbid, things go the other way your doctor will inform you about the same and you can make a decision before the 20th week of her pregnancy.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
